Nordic Naturals是在北歐挪威所創立的品牌，這裡是創辦人Joar Opheim的家鄉，而魚油也正是每日生活中所不可或缺的必需品。
1980 年中期，挪威人 Joar Opheim 為修讀工商管理碩士學位來到美國，在此他無法找到所需的優質魚油。

Nordic Omega-3 Jellies® won the NutrAward 2013 for "Best New Finished Product" at Nutracon's 15th annual awards ceremony. Nutracon is the premier conference for ingredient and technology innovation within the health and nutrition industry. Winners were determined by a weighted vote from the expert selection committee and registered Nutracon, Engredea, and Expo West attendees.
